About Massoud Katebeh, PE – Principal Engineer at MGK Engineering
Massoud Katebeh is the founder and principal engineer at MGK Engineering. He has over 20 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm engineering, and holds a Professional Engineer license in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, and the European Union. He has also held the LEED AP certificate since 2008.
Massoud earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florence in Italy, where he also completed doctoral coursework. He has worked in Italy, Abu Dhabi, and across the United States, bringing a broad technical foundation to projects of all sizes.
His project credits include work for Arizona State University, Regeneron Laboratory, JFK Airport, the American Museum of Natural History's Gilder Center, and multiple high-rise residential buildings in Manhattan. Today, MGK focuses on residential and small commercial MEP work — where Massoud's depth of experience translates directly into fast, accurate permit packages for contractors and property owners who can't afford delays.
Massoud is also the author of Electrical Distribution of a Skyscraper in the United States, a technical reference for engineers and developers working on large-scale electrical systems.
